| 203 | Marion P. Spigener | I can't believe that my accessment went from $95,480. to $222,380. in one year. What's going on? Also, I noted that Mayor DeStafano's tax went to $220.000. My condo is only 1050 sq. ft., and I'm sure that he has a much larger house. |

| 221 | Delicia Buckley | property taxes are high enough as it is along with the "vehicle tax." I think it is utterly unconscionable for the city of New Haven to raise the property taxes consistently every single year. I moved to New Haven in 2003 and my real estate taxes have increased every year. It wouldn't be so bad if the city/state actually built some sort of attraction(s) besides Yale University in order to draw other types of income to the state, but there is absolutely NOTHING here so how else do they make their budget year after year. Raise the R.E. taxes on the city's residents who already find it hard to make ends meet. It's not fair and it must stop! |
