Heated/lighted surf pools in new england Worth it. how many surfers locally How many more How profiatble is Ryeairfield and water country What's the break even Build it in NH and they will come Put in hot tub/"spring" pools next to the pool and you will have folks dropping gym memberships for this. 30min revs in the pool. 10 min the tub. 10 min to change out of suit. Better than a gym anyday.Flag

Name: Maryellen Atkins on Feb 23, 2006State: RICountry: USComments: The surf park would rock! As well as create lots of revenue for 6 flags. the northeast corridor is the most populated region in the US with lots of surfers living there ( don't believe me: come to any beach in Newport RI any given day of the summer, then check all the out of state plates that are there to surf). I heard that they want to build one of these park on long island, which is great for NYC but hard for the rest of the northeast to access.Flag

Name: David Dietsch on Feb 24, 2006State: CTCountry: USComments: A surf park would give people the opportunity to fine tune thier skills when the swell just isnt pumping. It also takes away many health risks concerning undertows and sharks(the least of most surfers worrries)Flag
