| 2 | Tom McManus | I am a life long resident of Lake County. I believe that disc golf is the perfect vehicle to bring new members of the community into the Forest Preserve. Disc golf is an activity for young and old and can be enjoyed by families as well as friends. |
| 3 | Ryan (Rocky) Pebbles | I live in Lake Zurich for over 23 years and have played over 75 different Disc Golf courses across the country. I feel that I would use the LCFP more often if there was a course and I would also bring my family and friends. Thank you for your time. |
| 4 | Allan Short | Grayslake, IL |
| 5 | Neal Swanson | I am a disc golf enthusiast and the sport is the best in the world. Please install a Championship Caliber course in the Lake County Forest Preserve. |
| 6 | Tom Schodtler | I am a Lake County resident and would love to see a championship style disc golf course in the forest preserve. If it was a "pay to play course" I would by a yearly pass for many years to come.
Thanks,
Tom Schodtler |
| 7 | Scott Pitner | There's a bunch of courses out there, yes, but for the serious disc golfer these courses are not the kind of courses that provide a decent challenge and attract the top professional players from all over. A championship caliber course has the capability to do that! |
| 8 | Anonymous | I'm a resident of Chicago but I regularly play disc golf in Lake County - spending a fair amount on car and other recreational expenses while doing so.
Disc golf is a wonderful activity for all ages and it would be a great asset for Lake County to utilize available space in a forest preserve for a high-quality course that would bring a large number of serious players who are also environmentally sensitive. |
| 9 | Todd Fanning | I am 19 years old, from Green Oaks Illinois and have been playing disc golf for 5 years. I have played with my family, and friends many times and always meet new people out on the courses. I think a Championship caliber frisbee golf course would be a great addition to Lake County to bring people together, such as family and friends ect. |

| 12 | Roy Schodtler | Area disc golf enthusiasts deserve a top quality disc golf course. It is a growing, low environmental impact sport, and is consistent with the goals of Lake County. |
| 13 | Taylor Cimala | I fully support the notion of installing a professional disc golf course on the Lake County Forest Preserve property. |
| 14 | Kurt Krasinski | As a resident of Elburn in Kane County I applaud the Lake County Forest Preserve district for their leading role in providing quality yet inexpensive outdoor recreation opportunities for its residents. I am part of the rapid growth of Disc Golf in the area having only picked up the game within the last two years. My wife, children, and I greatly enjoy travelling to various disc golf courses in Illinois and the surrounding states for weekend outings. Great destination courses can be found in Davenport, Peoria, St. Louis, Cincinnati, etc. We invariably find the locals playing these parks to be friendly, courteous people with a love of the outdoors. The Lake County Forest Preserve District has the opportunity to establish a showcase facility that appeals to both the family out for some fresh air and the serious tournament player while preserving the natural environment in which the course is contained. I urge you to do so and thank you for your consideration. |
| 15 | darren j. glass | i am a lake county resident and would like to see a disc golf course built in the forest preserve. |

| 17 | David Barish | Disc golf is good for the community and fo rthe Lake County Forest Preserve. It is a "green" sport that preserves the natural surroundings. Disc golf is enjoyed by all ages. I am turning 50 this year and often play with teenagers and players older than me. I often see families on disc golf courses. |
| 18 | Ron Miller | Course for everyone |
| 19 | Justin Elmore | |
| 20 | Jason Rose | I am a teenager who got into disc golf in eighth grade and who as played basically everyday i could since. Although I play in a lot tournaments , the biggest part of my disc golf expierience is with my friends in the local parks. I believe that a championship style course would be very effective in lake county because the course could be utilized by all groups of people. This is how i would see it: On such a course thier would be three tees on each hole, red, white, and blue. these would be progressively more difficult. Red would be designed for recreational, beginning players who are just out for fun. ( community groups, youth groups, family picnics) and then more difficult ones (white= average player) and blue pro tees for the more advanced. This type of course isn't found very much in Northern Illinois. this would be great because people would come from all over to play because its fun and it has something for players of all skill levels. |
| 21 | Michael Walsh | I am in favor of having a championship calibur course installed on Lake County Forest Preserve property.
Disc golf can be played from school age to old age, making it the one of the greatest lifetime fitness sports available.
Disc golf provides upper and lower body conditioning, aerobic exercise, and promotes a combination of physical and mental abilities that allow very little risk of physical injury.
Players of limited fitness levels can start slowly and gradually increase their level of play as fitness improves.
In my opinion Disc Golf will experience growth similar to the recent Soccer boom. |
| 22 | Jason Sternberg | I started paying Disc Golf in June, 2006 and have spent over a thousand dollars on equipment, food, and gas while playing disc golf in little over a year. I have traveled over two hours to play challenging courses. As former resident of Lake County, I would return more often to play a championship caliber course. | 23 | Ryan Jones | Put the course in. I really like the to walk to forest perserve but if a course is there I would spend much more time there. |
| 24 | John Knudson | I don't live in Lake County, but I am certainly willing to travel to play an outstanding course. |
| 25 | J Kirkton | I play often and the courses in Lake County are very average. There needs to be one course for better players and for better tournaments. |
| 26 | Sergio Correa | I live in Kenosha County (Wisconsin) but frequent the courses in the Lake County area. I have seen and appreciate the support given to the sport of disc golf by the Lake County community. |
| 27 | Nick Swanson | I live in Lake county and the best thing possible would be a championship quality course in Lake County!! |

| 29 | Brian Kidder | Disc golf is a fun sport that encourages sportsmanship and further enjoyment of nature. It can be played by anyone at any skill level. I think by promotion and growth of the sport it gives kids and families something fun and interactive to do, another way to connect. Sometimes the game itself is secondary to the socialization that occurs during play. |

| 33 | Anonymous | Disc golf is a great addition to the community. I have been playing the sport for over 15 years and it's growing like crazy. It's a great for exercise and it's also something for kids to do and/or get them out of the house. |

| 37 | Chris Mukukenow | I live in Downers Grove & frequently travel to Lake County for disc golf, especially tournaments. Unfortunately, if there isn't a tournament I would rather go past Lake County to Wisconsin or South to the Joliet area as the courses are much more varied, more difficult, & a lot more fun to play. A Championship calibur course would attract people from all over on a regular basis. |

| 39 | Miguel Dominguez | I Have only been playing for about 2 years now, One of the greats sports played but not that many poeple know about and its free. Disc Golf |

| 42 | Carla Gomez | I am very happy to hear the FCFP is thinking about installing a championship disc golf course! There is a lack of quality courses in the area and what an asset this would be. I have been playing disc golf competitively for almost 4 years now and am thouroughly hooked! I would travel from Wisconsin just to play this course as would many Milwaukee area players. I will be staying informed of the progress with this project and would be willing to volunteer time to help make this happen.
Thank you very much! |
| 43 | Adam Camp | I play 3 5o 5 times a week. I work in Lake County and would love to see another course. |
| 44 | Heath Hunziker | |
| 45 | John Cleaveland | Great Idea! |
| 46 | Tyler Williams | I'd love to see a championship disc golf course in the Lake county forest preserve system. The land that the forest preserve has to offer is unique for the area and perfect for disc golf. I would bring my family and friends out to see what a top level disc golf course lookds like. |
| 47 | Steve Cohn | NE Illinois is synonymous with "9 hole course" in the disc golf world. Let's show them that a championship level 18 hole (or more!) course can be built and will get quality use in NE Illinois! |
| 48 | Brian Kielar | Please bring a champion level disc golf course to Lake County. If you do, I will drive down and pay to play it.
