Yerxa has always lived in the Edmonton area and his 31-year involvement with the radio industry now give him the ability to successfully compete as a new INDEPENDENT, LOCAL FM operator. NEW-FM will offer a huge variety of NEW music ranging from Modern Rock to Hip-Hop, Electronica and Alternative Pop! It will also be massively involved in Edmonton\'s local music scene, especially with its NEW STAR program that will allocate $100,000 (one hundred thousand dollars) each year to find and support new & emerging talent in Edmonton! Yerxa has attracted well respected music industry professionals such as local DJ\'s, Announcers, Musicians, Artists, Media & Sales leaders to make up the NEW-FM team and its advisory committees!
