When you go to other states, your able to experience that state and hear their music on the radio their. You may even be introduced to new artist, through their media. New York media is like a brick wall in between New York music and the masses. It isnt a good outlet for the music here. Much respect to the independent stations that are showing New York artist support. As we are attacking these big stations for what their not doing. Lets give support back to the independent stations that are supporting.

I think if you are a talented artist from a certain city your city should def show love and start playing your music! We all we got! If we can't show love for our own then how can we show love to others!

I want to hear some NY Artist. Im sick of these corney new Southern wack rappers on HOT 97. Why are there NO NY HipHop Artist on the air waves? There are so many Starving NY HipHop artist that NEED and Want to be heard!!! I wanna hear some SnazBoogie Castro blaring threw these NYC Streets. Just to name one!!!!!

New York artist need to focus on NY style and bring that real hip hop sound back. It's OK to be yourself. The sooner they understand that the essence will return where it belongs. Yes I want NY media to support NY artist but you have to start with the artist.
