Dear Friends & Family: I dreamed up "New Vista Lane" with a heartfelt purpose. I wanted to spread depression awareness. I wanted to try to help people by showing them they are not alone. I didn't have a huge budget, lots of contacts, the energy or health. (I battle depression) What I did have was passion to help others. In July 2011 I decided to fundraise and lovely souls like yourself helped NVL come to life. It took months of fundraising, planning, casting, writing and such. On Jan. 16, 2012 we wrapped. It was the hardest thing I've accomplished in my life because I wore many hats to get this project done. I still battled with my own depression and my energy was always so low. Sadly, the actors, crew and people who supported me and NVL Have not had the chance to see it. The person who has the footage has decided not to give it to me. Why? I have no idea. I've requested the footage so many times that I've lost count. It's been almost 8 months of asking. Please consider signing this petition.
