Comments: We definitely need an indoor facility to back up the excellent work done on the track & field arena at Bar End.

Comments: If we can improve the facilities in Winchester a greater part of the population could be encouraged to take part in sport and get fit and healthy; which in the long terms helps aleviate the burden on the NHS. Having a 50 metre pool would also be a great financial investment as it could attract individuals and clubs from further afield.

Comments: Judging by the great success of WADAC with its new athletics track, I believe that an indoor sports facility of the size envisioned would be a welcome addition to the city.

Comments: An indoor sports training facility is sorely needed in this area to allow many more to train and develop without travelling some distance to do so.

Comments: I have to take my daughter regulalrly to Lee Valley to train especially in the winter. In competitions it is easy to see the advantge that athletets have who can train at such facilities all year long.

Comments: The council really needs to think where they spend their money in current times. A sports facility would have had much greater and longer term benefits to the community in terms of health and socially than replacing street lighting throughout Winchester and probably many other projects which really did not need to be done at this time.
