Name: John C. Bucur, MD on May 10, 2012Comments: Our Granddaughter was marrried in the Church. We have been attending the Church prior to her birth. All in all for 32 plus years. Dr. Packard has constantly been a mainstay in our family in the marriage of our Son, as well, and the assistance that he provided throughout his long illness and death. He continues to be a prominent factor in all our Church activities. He should be returned to his Parish.Flag

Name: Patty Parnell Revis on May 10, 2012Comments: As I have known Larry Packard for nearly FOUR DECADES, there is no way I would believe him to behave in anyway whatsoever to justify him being put on any kind of administrative leave. His decisions and judgment are always in the best interest of his parishioners and the health and wellbeing of the church. I can only hope that this situation is being resolved to his favor at this time. Larry not only lived under my parent's roof for a time while in Memphis, his advice and counsel got me through my teenage years and helped to shape me into the person I am today. In fact, when my father passed away three years ago, I turned to Larry before my own pastor. Eventhough we had lost touch for some time, it was Larry who, 25 years later, I needed to speak with before planning my father's funeral service in 2009. I sincerely hope this matter is resolved quickly. Y'all are lucky to have Larry in your parish. If he lived near me now, I would be a member of his church and be in my seat every Sunday.Flag
