The conflict in eastern Congo - the deadliest since World War II - is fueld partly by a multi-million dollar trade in minerals. Armed groups generate an estimated $144 million each year by trading tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold. We are asking New Community Jewish High School be aware of where the minerals in their electronic companies are coming from. We ask that they advocate for this cause by signing to buy conflict free products once they are made available to the public.
