New Hampshire Non-Resident Concealed Carry License

19 Signatures Goal: 1,000

On July 18, 2013 New Hampshire ratified the requirements for Non-resident Concealed Carry License (CCL) to require a permit from ones home state. Saf-c 2102.03(b) No nonresident license shall be issued unless the applicant provides a copy of the applicant’s resident state license, or unless the applicant displays, for verification, a resident state license. NJ residents can not meet this requirement as NJ is a May Issue state and refuses to issue permits to it's citizens.

This Petition has been created to remove the Home State CCL requirement.

Dear NH legislature: I ask that you recind the Home State CCL requirement as I reside in NJ where CCLs are effectively denied the average law abiding citizen. I have a NH Non-resident pistol/revolver License as well as the same from Utah, Florida and Virginia. I am also a member of PGNH association.

As the current holder of a NH non-resident CCW who resides in NJ...a state which makes obtaining CCW nearly impossible...I respectfully request the law be changed to allow renewal of my NH CCW without requiring a Non-obtainable NJ permit.

As a Free State Project supporter I have to ask that the state of NH reconsider based on this petition.
