New Hampshire Non-Resident Concealed Carry License

On July 18, 2013 New Hampshire ratified the requirements for Non-resident Concealed Carry License (CCL) to require a permit from ones home state. Saf-c 2102.03(b) No nonresident license shall be issued unless the applicant provides a copy of the applicant’s resident state license, or unless the applicant displays, for verification, a resident state license. NJ residents can not meet this requirement as NJ is a May Issue state and refuses to issue permits to it's citizens.

This Petition has been created to remove the Home State CCL requirement.

Support Services Bureau Permits and Licensing Unit
Pistol and Revolver Licensing

  • Dr. Philip L. Accaria Dear NH legislature: I ask that you recind the Home State CCL requirement as I reside in NJ where CCLs are effectively denied the average law abiding citizen. I have a NH Non-resident pistol/revolver License as well as the same from Utah, Florida and Virginia. I am also a member of PGNH association.

  • Fred J. Mason As the current holder of a NH non-resident CCW who resides in NJ...a state which makes obtaining CCW nearly impossible...I respectfully request the law be changed to allow renewal of my NH CCW without requiring a Non-obtainable NJ permit.

  • Justin Tippett As a Free State Project supporter I have to ask that the state of NH reconsider based on this petition.
