Recently NSIT figured amongst the top 10 technical institutes of India (DQ & E.T. survey). This achievement has proven the mettle of our institute and firmly established the fact that we are amongst the very best. But are we students getting what we deserve??
Having been ranked ahead of certain iit's and other prominent colleges of India where net connectivity for students in the campus and hostel is not just a facility, but a way of life, we people are still working with a few terminals in the campus for accessing the net.
The situation is particularly distressing for the hostellers who have to go out of the campus for accessing data required for their projects, seminars etc. Having said that, the day scholars too suffer from lack of proper connectivity in the campus and have to look for alternate measures.
It is high time we people ask the authorities to take appropriate steps for providing us with the connectivity. Our demand is not at all irrational or inappropriate and there is no reason for the authorities to turn it down. I request you all to sign this petition and give your full support to this cause. The petition shall be later on put forward to the concerned authorities for review and I hope with an overwhelming support from you guys we shall get what we deserve. |
