All these Truth commercials get on my nerves. They always go after cigarettes, but never after alcohol. Alcohol is much more damaging to the body than cigarettes and illigal drugs combined.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 24, 2006State:Country: CAComments: man i know all that stuff is true but getting drunk is the funnest thing i've ever done and even with the fighting it's all fun and games...if you fighting with a friend but if you're figthing with a guy you dont like well if you win in a fight you feel good and that also makes it fun unless you lose...and the taxes put on alcohol is helpful to the government so they arent just gonna bann it all of a sudden...and there's so many kids in my highschool that drink if you were to ban it we'd just find a way around it just like people do with weed and all the other drugs...and i dont know if you mentioned it on here but i always hear that if somebody drinks they're going to do drugs but that's b.s. if the person does drugs they are obviously not mature enough to say no and that's why there's an age limit on alcohol so that a person is mature enough to know what they're getting into...even though i'm 15 i've never smoked weed and i dont plan on it...goodday my good chumsFlag

Name: Kelsey Robertson on Jul 4, 2006State: ILCountry: USComments: I am a college student and am absolutely disgusted by alcohol on college campuses. We need to give Prohibition another chance. And in the meantime, we need *much* more enforcement of current underage drinking laws --- a few nights in jail, at least, without bail and at least $1,500 fines per instance.Flag

Everyday there are dui arrests, domestic violence, and fights due to the high anount of alcoholics in this state. I think that Marajuana should be more legal than alcohol.Flag

Name: Paul Burns on Aug 23, 2006State: MICountry: USComments: Getting rid of ALL alcoholic beverages would be a blessing. Just like state and local governments are putting the smokers through hell by crusifying them, the drunks and ascoholics should be put through the same agony. Alcohol causes nothing but agony for the families and friends of the drinkers and misory for everyone else. I SAY BRING BACK PROABITION! GET RID OF ALL THESE STINKING DRUNKS AND GET RID OF ALL THE ALCOHOL ADVERTISING THAT RUNS 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK. IF THE ALCOHOL COMPANIES THINK THAT KIDS AREN'T PAYING ATTENTION TO THEIR AD'S THEY'RE KIDDING THEMSELVES.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 1, 2006State: NMCountry: USComments: I agree unfortunatly however the prohibiton party is very religious and this alienates alot of people who are secular or athiests. I myself am an athiest who believes it can only benefit humanity if we all lead healthy lifestles. The religiousness of the prohibition party though is often easily associated with other extreme religious groups like neo bible belt conservatives or the KKK. I am a straight edge and believe this would appeal to a a much larger group if it lost the archaeic religous aspect.Flag
