I strongly feel that Gov, Brownback is doing SERIOUS harm to the state of Kansas. He is not thinking about the whole picture and the impact of ALL residents. The area needing most attention - support for medical assistance programs is trying to be changed for the WORSE NOT BETTER for those in need of medical services in the state of Kansas. I use medical assistance and it scares me to death if the state goes to a managed care system! I can't imagine being dictated on when and where I can go to the doctor. I have several chronic illnesses and need to go to the doctor often. If I can only see one doctor this many times a month, the consequences could be significant. I image many other residents in the state who need medical assistance through this program would face similar dire straights. Also, the state of Kansas OUTSOURCES its transportation scheduling to a so called broker which is based in Lake St. Louis, MO. They are a for-profit company which is making millions!
