We (the students of 4th year Business Information Systems) think it would be of much greater benefit to us, if we were allowed to pick a particular subject or key area, to focus on for our final year in the form of a thesis, like other courses are expected, rather than having to code an entire project.

Most of us have the skills of Project Managers rather than of a Software Developer. Most of us do not feel confident that we can actually successfully code a software project to the extent that is expected of the students within the Bachelors Science in Computing (BSHC) course.

Totally agree. Focus should be on the business side of things, like it was for the last three years. This makes no sense.

This is so unfair. We are business students not programmers!! Dealing with code for the final project is just setting us up to fail.
