This is a petition against the homophobic policies of the National Blood Service (NBS) the NBS is managed by National Health Service Blood and Transplant (NHSBT). What we hope to do is to shed light on legitimate reasons why Men who have participated in Anal Sex with another Man... (Gay Sex) cannot donate blood, while a Man who has had Anal Sex with a Woman can donate blood. A Woman cannot donate blood for 12 months if she has had sex with a Man who has EVER had sex with another Man. These policies seem to target Gay Men without reason or any significant, obvious cause. We seek to abolish these policies and bring equality to the National Blood Service
