Comments: It would be great if there was a dogs park! Other counrties and states have parks that are for dogs only.

Comments: I am Ward 4 city councillor, and I am very interested with your thoughts about a dog walk. I have spoken twice on the council floor about a posibility of haveing a dog run. If you need a sponsor to bring it to the city council I will help.

Comments: I look enviously every day on my way home from work at the dog play area of Boston Common. I would support a dog park in Newburyport 100% and am willing to donate my time and $$ to help to see it happen. It will be great for our dogs and will provide another way to help build community as residents from all areas of the city get to know each other at the park.

Comments: I have also just moved to Newburyport & thought that it was a dog loving town, but I found that not to be all that true. I would love a place where my dogs could run free & could meet other dogs. I understand that not everyone is a dog lover, so it would be nice to have a place to go where you felt that you & your dog were welcome. This way people could go & not feel that they may be intruding with their pets. Great Idea Ladies!!!

Comments: I read about your project in The Daily News. This has been a project long needed, and I had made some initial inquiries when I first moved to NBPT a year ago. I think I have some useful info, as well as a number of fund raising ideas for the project. Good for you for initiating this much needed service to the community!!!

Comments: This is one of those "quality of life" issues that a progressive place like Newburyort should be proud to offer. Thanks for taking the initiative, ladies!
