Name: Hannah Russell on Jan 10, 2013Comments: Being in college makes it hard to attend shows period, let alone trying to attend enough shows to get adequate points in both associations since they don't co-sanction. I haven't renewed my membership to any association because of this, and probably won't until after I graduate.Flag

Name: Kelley Ogle on Jan 10, 2013Comments: When we began co-sanctioning with other associations few years back - I began to really to enjoy saving the travel, expenses, and my horses energy and meeting Michigan, Pa and Ohio and WVA competitors it was FUN! Sure enough I'm looking forward to show in 2013 again - NBHA shows co-sanctioning with other associations. Then we all members get informed. It is a mess. I suggest you to keep allowing co-sanctioning. It makes it all easy on all of us by having more riders in the classes, more purses to cover expenses and make new friends. If you made that limit...and then NBHA classes will maybe not have more than 20 riders in each class depending on the location. As for this...NBHA Headquarters, I have questions - do any of you compete up in NBHA shows where it had co-sanctioning? More riders, More winning purses...MORE PROFIT for you NBHA Headquarters,, am I correct? I understand part as I think about this, you want to limit and only NBHA competition...just NBHA I understand that, but then I have another question, does that mean you will not allow non-members to ride in the classes if you won't allow have district to co-sanction association? I'm a NBHA Member for 5+ years. If the rules isn't broken...DON'T FIX IT. If the rules is broken...FIX IT. I don't see anything that is broken. I'm proud to say Amy Synder is my director and she has always made sure the show producers and herself runs the show very smoothly and it has always been a successful when there's co-sanction and EXTRA rideres. I know if it is just nbha - there's not enough people. I compete with 3 horses...I don't go to shows where there is only NBHA because I need the time between to warm up, compete, and cool off horses after competes. Think about this before you change anything.Flag

Name: Vicki Siesky on Jan 11, 2013Comments: i am asking that you reconsider your decision to stop co approving with ibra. This is going to put a realo burden on those of us that run for both organizations , we are going to have to choose which one and i really feel you are going to end up losing the state of pa. There is no reason we cant run one class for both ibra and nbha. We have done this for years and there was never a problem. Why not make things easier on us its hard enough to try to get to these events as it is without going broke now you want to do this. will not renew until things go back to cosanctioning with ibra and running classes together.Flag
