49 Thomas BrownFire ants are on the march and likely to take over the planet if we don't do something now! This may sound like an exageration, well -take a look at the Florida landscape closely. There is not 2 inches of undeveloped land that is not inhabited by these insidious bugs. Destroy them before they destroy everything! Yes -I'll sign the petition! Please let me know how. Thanx !
50 Pamela ScottEverything Bites by Pamela Scott You say I should go out and play each muggy, soggy summer day, but you can see the price I pay if through that door I dare to stray. With feet and face all flecked with pink from bites of creatures come to drink, I dare not step beyond the brink where boggy meadows rise and sink. Mosquitoes, chiggers, ticks and fleas are lurking in the grass and trees just waiting for their chance to seize my tender skin between their knees. By any horrid happenstance, I do not care to take the chance that vile, evil fire ants will crawl into my shoes and pants. I've scratched and clawed until I've bled, the spots where fiends have freely fed. My arms and legs are streaked with red; I think I'll stay inside instead.
