Dear Mr. Domenech, I am a fan of the English Premier League and have watched Samir Nasri play in over half of his games during the season. I understand you have a tough job coaching one of the most competitive football teams in Europe with a proven history of success, but I believe many would agree with me for your omission of Samir Nasri in this year's World Cup squad. These are the reasons: 1. Nasri is a talented versatile player who can play in multiple positions (SS/WF/AMF/SMF). With the ability to play in a free role - he can create more opportunities and bring flair to the team 2. Since Fabregas' injury to Arsenal Nasri has stepped up and shown he can deliver on the big stage. Despite a disappointing season for Arsenal (by their standards), Nasri has proven he can contribute to his team in more ways than one - he can provide the killer pass, keeps the ball well, dribble at the defence - (Please see champions league goal vs. FC Porto on 3/9/2010) 3. The French team is lacking proven playmakers - with a midfield selection of: Lassana Diarra (Real Madrid), Alou Diarra(Girondins Bordeaux), Jeremy Toulalan (Olympique Lyon), Florent Malouda (Chelsea), Yoann Gourcuff (Girondins Bordeaux), Abou Diaby (Arsenal), Yann M’Vila (Stade Rennes), it would seem the French squad has a priority for strength and battlers in the middle of the park. But, with the exception of Gourcuff, there seems to be a lack of flair or creativity which has been a point of criticism for the french team in the past. I am sure there are many people out there who agree with me and I sincerely wish they can sign this petition in support of our views. I genuinely wish the French team success in this coming World Cup - but it would seem that an omission of a possible game-winner (even if he comes off the bench) might reduce the chances of a fruitful campaign. Thank you. Yours Sincerely, A French Team Supporter
