EA Sports has exclusive rights to NASCAR for the PC but does not offer a functional PS SIM that is suitable for online racing. The product they offered in 2005 titled NASCAR SIM Racing fell far short of the advertised hype used to sell the game to millions of loyal NASCAR fans throughout the world. We are asking NASCAR to exclude rights to NASCAR on the PC platform from the next EA Sports contract. We are asking NASCAR to free up the rights to NASCAR on the PC platform so that those of us abandoned by EA Sports may enjoy our hobby with another company that understands who we are and what we are about. We are NASCAR fans who want to race NASCAR on the PC platform with a stable and robust SIM, free up the rights so we can enjoy our hobby.
