Name: Tim Reynolds on May 10, 2007Comments: High Wycombe needs avenues for local musicians and DJ talent to express themselves. By banning music venues such as the Nags Head the town will be in danger of turning into a faceless cliched high street of short skirts and white shirted identibars.Flag

Name: Dan on May 10, 2007Comments: let us have our fun please, u can tip toe towards the new world order but let us have our fun along the way thankyouvery much, theres nothing to do in this dull town anyway so why take another music venue off the kids, your only gonna make them have nowhere to go and start using drugs in the parks, so stop killing our creativity and fun!Flag

Name: Anonymous on May 10, 2007Comments: The proceedures that Tom has in place for preventing underage drinkers are far better than any venue in Wycombe. The fact that he himself patrols the venue and the rye to make sure no one is drinking underage shows how responsible he is and how much he wants it to be an all ages venue. People have been respecting this and with no re-entry young people drinking has been kept to a minimum. Venues such as The Roundabout and The White Horse took no such precautions, thus they were shut down. In light of all this I really can't see what objections the council haveFlag

Name: Michael Chase on May 10, 2007Comments: As a musician I only wish that there were more venues with a dedicated room where people came to hear rhe music. The music should be the primary motive for being there and have a drink while you listen, not the other way around. Good luck in your campaign.Flag

Name: Clive Boddy on May 10, 2007Comments: Myself & my fellow friends were very excited to see the Nag's head re-opened after all these years only to have the main reason for it's existence scuppered by these ridiculous restrictions! Wycombe desperately needs more venues for live music as not all of us enjoy glitzy neon encrusted wine bars pumping out lame chart music all the time! I sincerely hope this situation will be resolved soon!Flag

Name: Hedge on May 10, 2007Comments: Having little to nothing in Reading there has been many occasions I have travelled to Hich Wycombe to attend Blues, Rock, and even a CLASSICAL music function. Among such trips I have been to the NAGS HEAD on several occasions over the past twenty years, and would like to continue the opportunity to visit such a well-known and prestigious venue in the future. It seems to be that anything but banging trendy disco music is hit upon these days, and though I agree some issues arrise with residents, I feel most issues are easily overcome, or at minimum, attended to. Please do not destroy another long-established music venue in the Thames Valley area, there are few enough now. Thankyou.Flag

Name: Emma Churcher-Holt on May 10, 2007Comments: When visiting my family we would enjoy a night out, and the Nags Head would be the perfect venue. People from all walks of life coming together to share in something they mutually enjoyed, decent live bands. It made a nice change from the drivel being pumped out by some of the so called 'talent' around at the moment. Stop the music stop the culture. Tut tut to the councillors. Signed 'patiently waiting next local elections'.Flag
