The Kelly Blue Book value is used by dealers to determine the value of a car, trade-in or otherwise. This is somewhat of a standard in buying and selling cars. However, when you pay your car taxes, they are based on the NADA value, which is typically MUCH higher than the Kelly Blue Book values. This has a DRAMATIC effect on our economy. I am calling for an adjustment, making our taxes based on ACTUAL market values, and not some arbitrary \"quote.\" This petition will be sent to state and federal tax commissions, as well as the President.
