Hey guys, to remember the late John McCarthy, we thought it would be nice to have tribute match in his honour
Collingwood vs Port Adelaide Match in Sorrento, Port Phillip Bay
The Town where the Late John McCarthy Grew Up in with his Family.
And also that all the Collingwood players either wear the number #3 guernsey of have a #3 patch on their guernsey and the same with Port but with #35.

Great idea. John was a top bloke and a great player. Make it happen AFL.
RIP J Mac. Gone way too soon. Hope they get those two clubs together for a match.
Sending love to his family. It would mean so much to the whole community to see this happen.
Go Pies. This would be a great way to respect J-Mac. The afl needs to do something proper for him.
About time the AFL honored him properly. Totally support a game in Sorrento.

Such a tragic loss for everyone involved. A tribute match in his hometown is the least the league could do.
