Steve BrassardI just bought the 680i motherboard a 3 weeks before the launch of the QX9650. I bought it for the only reason of running this processor. I bought it because EGVA was one of the best companies I have read about from other users in many reviews stating that their customer service is above and beyond any other. I bought it because it was said to support 45nm processors. Now I am out $230 because this processor is not supported, so they say, on this board. I want EVGA to show me personally how they take care of their customers and provide me and many others like me a step-up program to the new 780i chipset that is said to support 45nm quad QX9650 processors. Actions speak louder than words and I like everyone else are standing here patiently waiting for action. Otherwise, I will swear to never buy anything NVidia or EVGA again. (I know you fanboys like to think this is Intels fault, and it may be, but i could care less. Thats why NVidia and Intel write contracts so everyone knows what they are getting) I want to see some action here!

AnonymousWhere is the 45nm Yorkfield support?
Moises GonzalezEVGA Stated that the 680i would work with the Intel 45nm processors both quad and dual, now they say only the dual cores will work. Nvidia needs to either offer a replacement for the boards to the new boards that will support the 45nm Intel quads or release a bios that will allow support for the 680i..
Helene WhissellTo whom it may concern, If this is not dealt with quickly and to the satisfaction of the disgruntled 680i owners out there,of which I am one.I will certainly look into legal action in the future, first and foremost against eVGA. Sincerly, Helene
Lucas D.My nforce 4 was great, but my 680i is so finicky and problematic.

JOHN ELMOREI am very upset being told that my Evga 680i SLI board would support the new 45nm Quad chip by Evga ,just with a Bios update ,and now being told I will need a new board to support it ,I would'nt have spent $250 on a board if I knew That.
AnonymousEVGA 680i, unsatisfied with motherboard.
JEFF S. WALLACEI spent my hard earned money on this board to eventually go to 45nm quad core!!! FIX IT
AnonymousI've purchased a Q6600 (G0) for the sole purpose of overclocking it and with this 680i chipset I have run into nothing but trouble where the multiplier would keep changing even though I've disabled the necessary BIOS options preventing it. I believe there are some serious voltage regulation issues with this motherboard and Nvidia should offer a free upgrade to a more stable platform. I bought the Q6600 temporarily until I could upgrade to a quad-core Penryn based CPU and I've read that my current 680i chipset had support, but recently I've read now that the 680i chipset does not support Quad-Core Penryns which makes me wish I just bought a Intel P35 Chipset instead firstly to overclock my Q6600 (G0) and to later upgrade to the 45nm Quad-Core Penryns.

Christopher LackI ordered all the components for a new PC only to find I had an expensive processor arriving for a motherboard I couldn't use. EVGA support staff told me that all I'd need to support the QX9650 was bios upgrade P31 even up until Wednesday 21st Nov.
mike dunneplease fix yyour chip so it works the way you claimed it would

Robert CollierI was very disapointed to learn that the 680i motherboard I purchased with the understanding that it would support the 45nm processor, infact will not support the quad core Yorkfield. I hope NVIDIA makes good on that promise.
Daryl SouthwoodThis is unfair and shows poor on nVidia's part. If it worked before it should now.

Anonymousyou would think after I spent $1,600.00 on a state of the art processor and mobo that it would work. Guess you guys are too worried about money and not the people that pay your salaries, assholes....

Anonymouswhere is my promised 680i 45nm Yorkfield support???
Zack JonesThis is BS, sounds more like a lie to get people to upgrade their boards. Either give us a working bios or a new board for free.

AnonymousI am upset being told that my Evga 680i SLI board would support the new 45nm Quad chip by Evga ,just with a Bios update ,and now being told I will need a new board to support it ,I would have went with another chipset if I would have been provided the correct information.
TrevorBought A1 a month ago for Jan8th release of York QX9450 Since it was confirmed to work. LAW SUITS will be start coming in, If they don't fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kevin PentonNVIDIA should not be able to get away with this.
Juan Pablo NaarMany stability issues, and they lied about Penryn being compatible with only a BIOS update.
AnonymousCry moar, bitches. nVidia doesn't care. No one cares but you. Faggotdagger can suck a fat schlong and get pubes stuck between his teeth.

Matt SmithI own the Gigabyte GA-N680SLI-DQ6 board which promised to operate at speeds not yet capable with the NVIDIA 680i chipset. I did not get what I paid for and nothing has been done to resolve this.

TomaszI bought the 650i motherboard a few weeks ago with hope that i will be able to use 45nm quad core procesors. What now? its not fair.
Morrie FarbmanTop dollar for a short lived chipset is just not fair.
J.RiemersmaAfter spending 400 euro`s on a MB and Vista Ultimate Oem, i have to do that again to get a quad-core . Maybe it`s time to switch back to AMD/ATI again..........jezus, what a crap .
