| 153 | Anonymous | Payed top dollar, nothing but trouble, verrrrrry Disappointed. Nvidia is pissing a lot of poeple off and giving motherboard Manufacturers a bad name. |
| 154 | Mike Dunne | I am on my fourth striker extreme motherboard in less then 8 months, I bought it mostly because the nvidia chip was supposed to be the best, now the time to step up make it work as advertised |
| 155 | Michael Costello | Dear Sir / Madam,
There are many users who have experienced problems when using four DDR2 modules in their motherboard. I too have experienced this problem and currently have to underclock the memory modules to make my computer boot. This is unacceptable in a consumer procuct.
Regards,
Michael Costello |

| 158 | Wai Pan Ian Chang | First of all, I would like to say I'm a big fan of nVidia since they started out, been a long time supporter and has been very satisified with what they deliver. However, after I purchased the 680i chipset mobo, my opinions have changed. Not only I got a board that won't function as advertised, it also caused problem that other boards would normally. That being said, I expected full support from nVidia to solve all the problems. After purchasing the board for over 6 months, I still yet have goten any solution from nVidia to solve the issues. This was very disappointing. I spend this much money because I, and everyone else, believed in the performance that nVidia promised this chipset would deliver. However, the defects on this chipset has caused not just once, but one after another problem. I and probably many others, have lost confidence in nVidia for delivering the promised performance and hereby hope nVidia will find a solution for everyone of us. Thanks. |
| 159 | Michael Adulov | Today I have the following problem
I have Striker Extreme motherboard with BIOS ver. 1102
I have installed 4 Gb of RAM model is TWIN2X2048-8888C4DF
My RAM was working three months with no problem
It was working with 1111Mhz at 2.4V with external fan as it should be.
But two days ago my PC started to play with me
After complete looking and managing m yPC's stuff,I have noticed, that my two Gb of ram doesn't work/I took them off.
My PC was bootable!
BUT!!!
After few hours of working,my PC started to play with me again. And what do you think? While having 2 GB of RAM, 1 GB don't work. So,I took that module off and now I'm working with 1Gb,while having 4Gb total.
Who knows, what the problem may be here?
Everything was working with SAFE settings!!!!!!
I did one operation. With last normal memory module rebooted PC,entered BIOS and set memory voltage to 2.0V.After that turned off PC.
Then
I have Installed second memory module.Tried to boot.
Boot was normal. Then I installed third module.Bott was OK.
And then the last-fourth module.Boot is ok.Now I work with all modules installed, but I don.t want to rise memory voltage more than 2.0V LOL
It's better to work with 4 modules with 800 Mhz,then having one module, working with 1111 mhz lol
Who knows, why that was?Is it BIOS or Memory modules? |

| 161 | Richard Suits | Look it,s great tech but come on I didn't shell out 1200 plus bucks for grap cards and 300 plus for a motherboard that i can't use all of it's potential.Come on Nvidia step up to the plate and restore the confidance I have in your products and company |
| 162 | Michael Mantho | Asus P5N32E-SLI. Everything worked fine for several weeks, now experiencing random BSODs and failures to boot. |
| 163 | Anonymous | After a year of failed boards and burned up ram and ram controllers, I finally had to give up and get a board with a different chipset. This means I took a $300 loss on the board and $700 on my second video card which I can no longer use for SLI. |
| 164 | Anonymous | I've been having issues the first day I bought this board, which was 9 months ago, and with the new updates and stuff I am still trying to get the errors worked out..very disappointed |

I am so fed up I feel like throwing this thing out the window! Either fix it or give me money back!! |
| 168 | Jonathan Cheesmond | I have had two Striker extreme boards now both with same problem.
I bought this board believeing i was buying into the latest high quality product from a high quality brand and to be honest i have been thoroughly dissapointed and shall be avoiding new chipsets in future. |

| 178 | Vince Cordina | My MB is Asus P5N32-E SLI . I used OCZ Tiatanium DDR2 Memory(2 GB) as idintified in Asus QVL and kept getting Blue Screen of Death crashes, even when setup Windows, XP, Vista 32 or 64. I spent more money and time This time I installed Crucial Ballistic Memory and same BSD crashes. |
| 179 | Jeff Packer | I bought my Striker Extreme Motherboard two days ago because it was supposed to be the "best M/B out at the moment"
I am still trying to get the thing to boot now (2 days later)......
Please Please sort this chipset out so us owners can use these boards as they were intended.... |
| 180 | McClaud | When I bought this board (march'2007) it did not reboot via "reset" button, i had to switch off and then on via "switch off" button. Only when I used the latest bios (1103) this problem was fixed. |
| 181 | Anonymous | do it! |

| 191 | Fabian Siemer | I run the evga 680I SLI, now i have RAID and networking errors after 4 Month with no problems.
- Nvidea Controlcenter Smart Control shows Heavy Access Error on RAID Controller 2.0, the 2 connected WD HD are fully ok, but the issues continues (Vista & XP)
- My Networkcontroller often disconnected without any reason (Vista & XP)
- After Updating the vista drivers I can not conntect to many sites like MSN, support.microsoft and more ...
(Vista)
Because of the raid problem I had to reinstall the system 3 times , and I losed a lot of data :(
I use the latest Bios and System drivers .... |
| 192 | Anonymous | paid top dollar for the best hardware I could get, and I actually purchased the most unstable hardware I could possibly buy. 6 months and nothing but problems. I have been told just like numerous others that I have a grounding issue, hmm funny I didn't before. 6 months of going in circles spending hundreds of hours on troubleshooting and RMA's etc. just to get my investment to work. I have lost hundreds of hours of lost work from system crashes and me not saving because I thought I had a stable computer. I have tried windows and linux and I have the exact same problems. I am giving up, at this point it is just so much of a constant loss and no matter what I do I know that I can not trust it to be stable. I now have a $2000 Paper Weight, and I am back to my older xp laptop and I get to look at my "state of the art" brick while my laptop chugs away . I believe that my personal financial loss as a direct result of nvidia's faulty hardware is in the range of $15,000 to $20,000, not to mention damages to my business reputation |

| 196 | Anonymous | Please make the 680i chipset workable with the QX9650 CPU. These motherboard are expensive, and should be able to upgrade more that 1 chip cycle. It is obvious that the FSB will support the new chips. |
| 197 | Richard Davies | I am VERY angry i brought this Chipset under the influance it was compatible! you LIED! its NOT! i now have a Spair CPU sitting here! and i want it to work! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NVIDIA! |
| 198 | dave heid | I know a lot of people are in the same boat, but I monitored the websites closely and I litteraly waited until almost a week before the Yorkfields were do out before deciding on a system to replace my AMD/nForce4/SLi setup(cough..). To say I am upset is an understatement, as others I am furiated over this tit-for-tat game that nVidia and a certain CPU maker are engaged in. It has hurt consumers to no end and they simply feel that a certain amount of complaint and failure is tough and we take what we can get. We as consumers have become complacent with standards of workmanship present in today's assembly houses, and continually deal with overpriced technolgy that is replaced every 8 months or so anyhow (usually takes that long just to get the first stuff working right). I hope something is done about this as I really will give up SLi in a heartbeat if I feel as if I am sacrificing quality and not getting the best for my money. |

| 200 | Roger Singh | There shouldn't have officially annouced the CPUs would be supported, when they didn't know themselves. |
