Nick LiebhaberI drafted this petition hoping it will help my fellow enthusiasts, who are experiencing similar problems as I with their nVidia 680i based motherboards, obtain the product they paid for instead of the defective product they received.
Sergio RejtmanI chose the 680 chipset over Intel out of faith in the Nvidia brand. I wont do this next time, though, for my faith is fading away.
Derek Potrykus680i Asus P5N32-E SLI owner...
Iain DempseyI own a Striker Extreme. It is an otherwise excellent board save for the ever-present possibility that it just decides to stop working one day. Asus have worked hard to get this board working, they've released BIOS after BIOS but, at the end of the day, they can't compensate for problems with the chipset itself. It's about time nVidia stood up and admitted the serious problems that plague the 680i and saw about making up for them.
Pelle Rothenborg3 RMA on motherboards 2 RMA on Memory Re release working 680i or free of charge upgrade to nforce 7
AnonymousThe 680i still has design flaws even after the D00 board update. Fix the PWMs and memory controllers!
jamie babsI have not upgraded to the 680i because of all the problems with other game members i know that have had DOA boards and the "--" issues with the memory controllers. These need to be fixed or recalled and bumped upto another new chipset..
william dixonpoor support new boards sent customers look used and hand fixed. new board still has problems with sound and raid. makes loud squel noise from board from cpu area.

Helmut TI have an EVGA 680i and the constant problems with the nVidia chipset, Bios, etc are forcing me to buy a P35 board... no sli but at least good and stable..
AnonymousYou should't sell a product that's not working properly
Edwin RaffI personally own an evga 680i motherboard and I have had nothing but problems with it from the beginning. I have gone through over 8 Rmas and now I'm currently waiting on a new board because the first pcie slot died and now the 2nd one has died as well.
Charles WardI'm went through two boards, and 8 gbs of ram. Multiple BIOS updates always to end up with a dead system 90 days later. Buying a cutting edge product then downgrading the ramsettings to keep the system alive is not why I had spent the money. I eventually gave up and swapped to a new Intel chip set and have not looked back, I'm running my ram now at proper spec, with a huge performace increase. My EVGA 680i board sits in a box collecting dust, just another waste of money.
cobaltrich27I am on my 3rd RMA ASUS Striker Extreme motherboard and my 2nd batch of RMA Ram. I had to also replace the Ram each time the Motherboard destroyed both itself & the Ram. Please offer a refund for this deffective design so I can use my hard earned money to get an Intel chipset based motherboard. Thanks...
Christian LevesqueThe 680i chipset killed my ram (which is rated for safe operation at 1000Mhz 2.35v) when running at 850Mhz 2.125v after only a month of use. My ram was previously working great at 1000Mhz 2.25v on an Intel board for many many months.
Martin HarmsenAfter a month my P5N32-SLI E gave me BSOD constantly )-:
This is BSSeriously. How gay is an online petition? LOL
AnonymousI'm on my 2nd MB and it has failed also. If I turn off my computer I will get a C1 error (memory controller). I have the EVGA 680i and the Biostar 680i. We need a fix to these terrible MB, and while you're at it, can you also fix your Graphics Card (8800 GTS/GTX) on Vista.
JacobsIt's a shame that a product so expensive doesn't work like it should be.

James ruizThis board has so much potential. My good has one and swears by it. I purchased one had nothing but headache's I had to return mine do to the DASH of death! on the board my board would not post and etc. on the led on the mobo I recieved the dash which means its shorting or hit ground . I reset the cmos and battery but here I come RMA. Now I know why this board from EVGA has a lifet time warranty

James AsherI have gone through six 680i boards through the past eight months with each one eventually failing due to poor quality control and shoddy manufacturing. The product simply CANNOT function with the improper cooling solutions put forth even on the reference boards. Similarly powerful chipsets such as the intel p35 do not suffer these problems due to the sufficient cooling. Nothing extra would even need to be taken, just proper application and technical aptitude in the area of cooling.
Joe BimmerleFirst 680i board from XFX died within hours. Second 680i board from eVGA has been stable for a couple of weeks but noticing signs of intermittent hardware issues. Questioning the stability of this product and will likely opt for an Intel chipset if this board dies.
Jeff WallaceLong time customer but the i680 chipset is bad hopefully you will stand your customers and fix it or replace it
AnonymousFiks the chipset (software)
Anonymous4 RMA's for defective chipsets
AnonymousThis board is plagued with 1333fsb CPU problems. My origianl chip was a e6400 & e6600 both 3.7 stable for over 6 months. E6850 comes around and this thing isn't stable past stock on anything. LAME FUCKING JOB with saying support for future CPU's! I wil never buy a nvidia chipset again on purpose. Fuck your fake DDR2 1066 & 1200 support.
Sohaib
Stefano Palmierihad 4 680i mobos. None have worked so far. 2 Evga one, and 2 BFG.

Robert GrauHad a Asus Striker Extreme!!! Boy that thing was NASTY!!! Random reboots, sometimes boot, sometimes not. Tried switching all components, still the same. Man, @COMPUSA for 349.00?? Couldn't wait to take it back...
Anonymous680i suck :@, i will never buy a motherboard whit a nvidia chipset sorry for my english, i only speak spanish
Steven PetrovskiAll I ask for is some driver support, at least!
Alex CastiProblems with 680i chipset for ASUS P5N32-E motherboard.
Kai SpethI am utterly disappointed by this chipset. It has been flawed from the start and doesn't deliver on its promise. In addition it simple doesn't work. Even with the simplest of setups.
FREDRICK LOMAXI have purchase a motherboard with the 680i chipset from Asus. Right now I am RMA the motherboard and it is my 3 RMA. I do like the videocards nvidia makes but they need a little help with motherboard chipset.
Hugo LogtOn my second EVGA 680i, first one died on me. Getting sporadic lockups even with my new board, even lockups in the POST screen! Going to get in intel G33 chipset based Matx board.
Howard Holcomb Jr.I've always put my confidence in Nvidia products. Now it's difficult to understand the apparent stance Nvidia has taken with the consumers of their products regardless of what brand name they appear on the market under. I'm referring to what many perceive as Nvidia as having turned their back on the people who keep them in business by purchasing Nvidia hardware. So here is my humble input on this, please fix the problems or lose my patronage forever. I hope you've taken time to read these Nvidia, I've spent thousands of $ US on Nvidia hardware and continuing to not properly support a high end piece of hardware really gives the impression that Nvidia sucks!
Izrin Zamir KamaruzzamanIf this petition is heard by nVidia, please ensure that any steps taken to rectify this issue with the 680i chipset applies to worldwide owners of the 680i based motherboards and not just to the US Market, which is usually the case. There are other people outside the US as well and there are people outside the US who are unhappy with their 680i based motherboards.
AnonymousBoard is totally unstable even without overclocking
