This petition is in opposition to MyCiti routes being allocated through the residential areas of Loevenstein and Welgemoed.

Loevenstein and Welgemoed have an agreement to not have public transport systems running through the residential parts of the area. This includes, but is not limited to, streets such as Eksteen, Kommisaris, Plettenberg, Trichardt, Mara, Poussion, Mahogany, and Deodar.

The signatories to this petition are opposed to the MyCiti bus routes being extended along these roads for reasons, amongst others: additional motor noise within the suburb, increase in road traffic, increase in foot traffic through certain areas, changing road structures, placement of stops within residential areas, increased difficulty in monitoring criminal activity as a result.
