While the original Harmony Gold lawsuit versus the Battletech/Mechwarrior franchise was fully justified, the Warhammer BattleMech from the MechWarrior franchise has been approximately the same design since the early days of the BT/MW franchise, and we feel that Harmony Gold is pursuing a wrongful lawsuit, as they have had plenty of time to draw such comparisons and take action before. Indeed, we are fairly certain that the Thor Battlemech design was extant at the time of the *first* Harmony Gold lawsuit, and request that they cease and desist. We are fully prepared to boycott Harmony Gold from this point on if they do not.

My name is Jamie Thomas Durbin. I have been a big fan of both the Battletech/Mechwarrior and Robotech/Macross franchises, but I am currently sickened by the timing of this legal action. As I have stated, I am fairly certain they could have raised the Warhammer design in the first lawsuit, but did not. Therefore, I feel they do not have the grounds to do so, and am looking for fellow gamers to support me in this.
