Looking back on parent's yearbooks and photo albums from their high school days, you see student's smiles from ear to ear; all at football games. Whether it's on the field or in the bleachers, football brings a new element to high school that everyone loves to get involved with! Banner making, pep rallies, screaming your head off when your school lands a touchdown; that's half the fun in secondary school! Monsignor Doyle is the only secondary school in Cambridge that does not currently have a football team. We can change that. Arguments against this proposition include funds for equipment, coaches, rallies, and a possibility of new football posts. However, we as a student body can override and even help fund for those things, therefore Doyle needs your support! If the school agrees to a football team, we can put the 'fun' in fundraising, and hold- (wait for it)- more coffee houses, CAR WASHES, theater productions, bake sales, civis days, and let's not forget to add that the football games themselves will fund for equipment! There's so much we can do together to make our generation's mark in Monsignor Doyle's history! So c'mon Mustangs, lets give Doyle an injection of what high school is made of! With your support, we can really make this happen, and as far as our school spirit goes, we WILL make this happen!
