Our Mission Statement: Music is my Weapon of Choice seeks to promote positive change and offer a safe haven for youth through music. Our mission is to put instruments into their hands, turn their thoughts into lyrics, and teach them how to use music as their greatest weapon. About Music Is My Weapon Of Choice: Opening the doors to our own establishment in Fayetteville is our goal. Our venue will provide a safe haven to our kids and teens, and promote positive development and mentorship. Through learning music and by giving kids and teenagers an opportunity to pick up an instrument, we will provide inspiration and purpose, and become deterrent to gangs, drugs, and violence. We will work to cater to all individuals, regardless of race, religion, gender, status, or disability. We will attempt to provide our services to people from all walks of life and meet their specific needs. Our youth can understand that picking up an instrument and using lyrics to express their thoughts is both the greatest high, and greatest weapon they possess. We will promote a life offering an alternative to violence, alcohol and drug abuse by providing both mentorship and friendship through music. Our venue will connect teachers, community members, adults, local bands and musicians, venues, all supporters of music, and youth in way that will have a lasting and life-changing impact.
