Music should be free, the reason being is that people already download it already. Digital Music should be Free, while still selling hard copies of the discs are retail for four dollars a copy. That way, people that still want their hard copies of the album can still have it for collection. People are going to say, "How are artists going to make money?" Simple, raise the cost of concert tickets up for a bit and start selling merchandise. An album on iTunes usually cost 9.99. Add 5.99 to the concert ticket and make the music free. That way people will download your music, you will get noticed, and more people will show up to your concert. So in the end, people get free music and artists will get noticed more.
