In 1989 just after High School Graduation (that following Summer) Dana L. Stidham of Gravette, Arkansas (Benton County) went to the local grocery store where she worked (deli) to pick up a few items for her ill father, she never returned home, and was found about 2 months later murdered. Dana was a very well liked and a very friendly-pleasant young girl, she had a very promising future, and she was a very intelligent-studious person. The small town of Gravette, Arkansas is just on theoutside of Bentonville, Arkansas (Home of Wal-Mart CorporateOffices), and not far from Rogers, Arkansas (Wal-Mart Store #1) and also(Home of Daisy BB-Guns), Dana being from a smaller town in Benton County, Arkansas had not the population or "people" that the other nearby towns such as Rogers, Bentonville, therefore NOT as many people knew Dana. The person of interest in Dana's case has been friends with a man that was in charge of the C.I.D. and his friend was the sheriff, many have speculated that their is some connection and or reason that this case did not go any further-and a arrest was never made in the case, although the person of interest was charged after Dana had been buried in the local cemetery of "theft of property of her grave marker". Many of the investigators and detectives have declined to arrest this man, and have failed to collect evidence, DNA, fingerprints...but there are several witnesses that have information "circumstantial" evidence, and information of what happened that night. We have been trying to keep our cool-patience and persistence in this case-but local law enforcement, and the field office of the F.B.I. have not responded to calls or information sent by U.S. Postal Mail that give many details of the crime, and persons of interest. We are suspicious of corrupt law enforcement in this case, and need you help. Dana's father "Mr. Stidham" has already passed away due to health problems, Dana's mother and brother are all she has left in her immediate family, and it has been 24 years that her family and Dana have been waiting for justice.
