they actually denied the variance and i am practically shaking while typing this because the park is safe for now. it is honestly surreal that we managed to stop them after all those late nights stressing over the land code sections. keep an eye on the zoning notices just in …

The developers of Munson Park are requesting a variance for their cut and fill plans in order to build a road that will provide access to/from hwy 360. The variance appears essential for the project to move forward as they may face larger issues in building a secondary road accessing Wild Basin directly. By signing this petition you are telling the ZAP commissioners to decline Munson Park Management, LLC’s request for approval of a variance to allow cut/fill over 4 feet (LDC Section 25-8-341/342 & Lake Austin Ordinance 9-10-409). PLEASE JOIN US on 11/18 AS THE COUNCIL LISTENS TO OPPOSING ARGUEMENTS; WEAR BURNT ORANGE & COME SUPPORT US AT Austin City Hall, 301 W. 2nd Street, Council Chambers, Room 1001. We are #6 on the agenda. Please see the link on the right for more details.

I really need people to ping a neighbor or two so we can hit that hundred mark before the hearing room gets all crowded and noisy. It is strange how fast this pile of signatures grew but we have to keep the momentum going since the developers are definitely going to be watching the screen.

This area is already way too congested. Adding more traffic from 360 is going to be a nightmare for those of us who live here.

If they cant follow the code they shouldnt be allowed to build. Simple as that.

Save our hills. Dont let them tear up the landscape just for an easier road.

They just want to cut corners to save money. The council better do the right thing and say no.

Seriously? Another development that ignores the environment? Enough with the variances already.

NO MORE CUT AND FILL. Those rules are there for a reason. Keep the land how it is.
