Comments: This IS the most unique New Years Day parade in the country. It has deep roots in the history of labor unions and the evolution of the American city. The rest of the country has a right to experience it.

Comments: I enjoy watching the mummers parade on TV every year because of my friends involvement in it. I have friends from out of state that would love to be able to watch, and I totally support the mummers being broadcast nationally.

Comments: South Philly transplanted to Erie,Pa. Always try to make it down to Philly (like so many other transplants) depending on gas prices and weather, it may not be possible. Would be Awesome to be able to see the "Mummers" on national T.V.! They have been around for at least a century, they are part of Philadelphia History! They should be televised nationally!

Comments: Even though I am a California native, the Mummers Parade, I feel displays more of what America is than the Rose Parade. America is People not Posies. Talent of the common people. Someday I hope to travel to Philidelphia to see the parade, but I would like to see it on my New Years viewing list.
