| 401 | Julian Pickering | Definitely support multihulls for the Olympics in 2012. |

| 405 | Bob Schahinger | The current ISAF committee have their collective heads in the sand and have lost sight of the "DIVERSITY" in the world of sailing and as such should be removed from their ivory castle as I am sure they will tumble from it in the short term. The multihull community fund these clowns. It is absolutely shameful and discusting.
GET ON WITH LIFE, PUT 2 HULLS UNDER YOU. |
| 406 | Chris Burd | |
| 407 | Peter Bradbury | I'm absolutely bemused by this decission . If you are going to drop the only catamaran out then why not drop sailing out of the Olympics altogether, no why not lets just get rid of the olympics and years and years of tradition. I am totally against this decission and the committee who have made it. |
| 408 | Glenn Perry | I have recently taken-up sailing Hobie Cats and they are so much more fun and "social" than the mono-hulls I have raced.
My wife and children who were not interested in sailing previously, now take part in the "Cat" events.
Why the ISAF would ever want to be rid of mulyi-hull classes at the Olympics is beyond me, if anything, the arguement is that more multi-hull classes should be included !
I read somewhere that the Tornado is the fastest class at the Olympics and the Hobie Cat is the 3rd most popular class world-wide; why would you not want these included ?
Something is very fishy and I can only hope that the ISAF are hung by their own petard ! |
| 409 | Simon Fielder | |
| 410 | Ross William Blair | I have been an avid multihull sailor and builder for 30 years and have fought hard to have them recognised as seaworthy, safe and exciting boats to sail. The decision by the ISAF is, in my opinion, a step backwards and a very one eyed point of view. |
| 411 | Dave West | |
| 412 | K.Jansen | It's amazing how easy this wonderful, spectacular and different variety of sailing has been removed from the proposed olympic classes. |

| 414 | m macgregor | Keep multihulls |
| 415 | Dmitry Borodulkin | "Tornado" must be in the Games.
As fastest boat. |
| 416 | Peter Skewes | My sons have had the dream of one day reaching the pinnacle of their sport and sailing for their country in the Olympic Games. They have a Darren Bundock poster on their bedroom wall. How many other kids around the world will have their dreams shattered? |
| 417 | Gal Fridman | this is one of the best looking boat for the media |
| 418 | Tim Shuwalow | Appalling decision |
| 419 | Annie Nelson | |
| 420 | JP Tobin | Voting out the fastest class in the Olympics is a giant leap backwards in the sport of sailing...sailing needs to be promoting the high performance disciplines (Windsurf, Skiff, Catamaran, Foiling) to the Olympics as these are the classes that communicate athleticism and excitement to future participants, media and public. |
| 421 | Michael Spies | As a 5 time World Champion in various monohull classes I find this decision tainted, devisive and unconcionable. It can only ensure our sport becomes more irrelevant to the punter and the corprate world |
| 422 | Will Crossley | every non cat sailor I have ever taken sailing on my cat now wants one. cat sailing is the best |

| 425 | John Forbes | The multihull is the most spectacular of all sailing classes and should be the last to go. If they must discard one sailing class then get rid of the slow boring boats like 470, Star and Finn. The are all not interesting to watch either live or on TV. |
| 426 | Chas Bedford | ISAF President Göran Petersson said: “The ten events chosen for the London Games provide a perfect showcase of the wide range and diversity of sailing. I am certain they will form the backbone of a terrific Olympic Sailing Competition in 2012."
Quick somebody, buy this prat a dictionary so he can look up the meaning of 'diversity'. |
| 427 | Thomas Crossley | |
| 428 | Sandra Crossley | |
| 429 | Anonymous | My dreams and aspirations have been shattered in one fell swoop in order to accommodate the needs of 50+ yr old fat blokes, which in all honesty is not what the olympics are about |
| 430 | Richard Campbell | If you expect me to watch or even care about the olympics NOW .You are sadly mistaken |
| 431 | Bryce Penfold | |
| 432 | devon | Now the Tornado is definatley dead.. Lets concentrate on a much more modern faster and exciting cat, as we now have the materials and knowledge to easily do this, now emagine what what a newer and far superior cat will do to dingy sailing... I believe with a new breed super Hobie it will spell the end of dingy sailing...seems hobie is ranked no 3 in sales now i think the ISAF dosent realise the tornado will be replaced by a far superior cat. I just need to know where i can buy one |
| 433 | Trigonis Konstantinos | |
| 434 | Michael Risoer | |
| 435 | David Fisher | |
| 436 | Keith Angus | |
| 437 | Derek Clark | It is very hard to imagine how the ISAF decisions will encourage and enfranchise the young sailors of today.A catamaran much improved in this millenium removed by one designed in the 1920's.
Match racing ousting a 49er type boat for the girls. Two mistakes! |
| 438 | peter carney | most concerned |
| 439 | JONATHAN HUTCHCROFT | |
| 440 | kirilyuk | |
| 441 | Mag. Martin Handler | |
| 442 | Brent Marshall | It is utterly outrageous, disgraceful decision by those despots on the ISAF council, and a blot on the sport of yachting. This decision has clearly been made by people who have no interest in the great sport we all participate in, I am not a multihull sailor but cannot imagine an olympic sailing event without these magnificent machines |
| 443 | Anders Kristensen | This is huge set-back for sailing and will threat our status as an olympic sport. When ISAF take the decission that we don't want multihull and skiff for women we send a message to the world that we are and oldfashioned sport who don't care about what the youtht are interested in |
| 444 | Sarah Hollands | I think the Olympics should be show casing the widest range of classes possible to help promote the sport. |
| 445 | Ann Constable | |
| 446 | Mark Clark | |
| 447 | Gary | Very sad :-( |
| 448 | Mark van Gelderen | |
| 449 | Paul Gates | |
| 450 | Paul Newman | As a keen sailer, but a mono hull sailor I want to see the sport as a whole promoted, not divided. I would rather see one of the less interesting fleets go, like a 470 or Finn. Why does there need to be 2 single men's dinghies and no multi hulls? Sailing is a diverse sport that is why it's appealing. |
