Ricardo Pérez GonzálezIncredible ISAF decision....I'm disagree at all !!!!!!
Todd Riccardi
Bernardo Benitez CabreraI want a multihull at the 2012 Olympics Games and must be the Tornado. I'm the F18 Spanish Class President and the Tornado National Spanish secretary of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and we all support the TORNADO as Olympic Class for 2012 Games.
Rob Sprij
W.Minderman
Stephen TitusOutrageous, elitist and an example of why the sport of sailing is often regarded in a poor light and suffers from diminishing numbers of participants.
Jason Hogendoorn
Graham Hensona sailor of mono and multihulls.
Richard Jones
John DeasonI am involved in multi-hulled sailing for able and disabled sailors and regard this development as most retrograde.Variety is good and for some the only path for enjoyment and personal achievement.
Phil DonovanIsaf's decision is totally wrong and needs to be reversed to encourage a sport that the youngsters love.

Dick JonesI am dismayed by the ISAF council's decision. Rather than encourage diversity and offer exciting sailing that might attract the non-sailing public (and hence TV revenue), they have gone for a dismal monoculture, and worse -- with classes in which few amateur sailors participate.
Suzanne Horne
Thomas Hallermannplease allow this high performance sailing class!
Tom SidersI can see that the ISAF, USSailing and the RYA all believe that having dinghies filling six of the ten open spots is a great representation of the sailing community at large. I must state that after years of supporting Tornados in the Olympic games, I am shocked at the outright contempt shown towards this discipline and to know that "back room" deals were cut with the 470 class. Shame on these MNA attendees and voters. I have been a continual member of both the ISAF and USSailing, but question what reason any of us who sail multihulls now have in supporting either of these organizations. The RYA should be added to this list.
David BriefA nonsensical decision.
Bernard ReadyThe effort and sacrifice of catamaran sailors has been betrayed. This is not a pop-up exercise; many years of preparation have been rendered pointless by the whimsical decision of stuffed shirts in ISAF and the RYA. It makes Olympic Sailing a sham and I am ashamed of the UK's part in it.

William T. PaschalYou're killing a class only to benefit another! BS

Minardi Jean-RichardI'm asking my self why are Multihulls not considered as "Sailors" as per ISAF... well at least they agree to take the money from the Multihulls sailors but does not want to allow us to be shown and represented. Seeing 29erxx like the Tornado ejected just confirmed me that majority of the Top ISAF Managers are old school sailors that should just be banned from the "Sailing World". Jean-Richard Minardi

Katia MinardiThanks to the "narrow vision of the Old Guys" of ISAF.
Chris HowarthThis is an absolute disgrace of which ISAF should be ashamed.

Richard HaegerA decision so contrary to the development of modern sailing sport, there are no words....what's next? Cotton sails and wooden mast in the Olympics?
Anthony DelowI am disgusted with ALL of the authorities involved and believe that this is a real travesty of justice, a complete lack of honesty and betrayal of a great class of sailing.
Robert J JefferyI cannot understand the thinking behind losing the catamaran, the fastest most exciting boat out there.
Rick White
Dave Howorth
Sylvia VoglIt is a desaster for the sport of sailing if the most exciting and technical challenging classes like the Tornado loose olympic status!!!!
matthew thompsonget rid of the dually singlehanded men's dinghies, or the farking keelboats. the T was the only cool boat in the olympics.
Colin PimblettThis is the latest in a long string of discriminatory actions taken towards the development of multihull sailing. Shouldn't the governing bodies be acting in support of its paying members in promoting sailing to all?
IAN SMITHTotally amazed and disgusted with the ISAF decision. This will deter many talented youngsters from entering or continuing with the catamaran scene. Is the RYA promoting all aspects of sailing ? I think not.
Roger Kingdon
Helga Vogl
Chris PriorHow can such stupid decisions be taken so irrationally. I now propose to withdraw my offer of assistance at the games in protest.
António SantosIts time to put all those dinos in a private island...
Helmut Vogl
Beat Stegmeier
GEOFF GREENHALLIf I was not sailing a catamaran then I would not sail at all. Inclusion not segregation,or do they see and hope that dinghy sailing is an elitist sport? Is a multihull only for the "common" people? I am promoting the catamaran as an introduction for youth sailing to increase sailing interest.
Maarten van Klaverenunbelievable
