Sara Kettlewell | i think it would be a travesty to get rid of catamarans as a class in the olympics. They are integral to sailing and should be represented as a class

Stuart Johnston |
David Rees |
Ruben de Boer | motherfuckers
Bram Sprij | Removing multihull sailing as discipline from the olympics is the same as removing long distance running by athletics,
Jack Rodney Hutton-potts |
van cutsem |
Rolf Nilsen | ISAF have to re-think their decision. Talk about being dragged into the 21st century by their hair.,

Anonymous | These guys are off their trolleys! and should be sacked
Zahid Aga | I don't see the point is leaving out a decipline which is the fastest and most demanding. In my opinion people want to see fast and exciting things and leaving out the tornado removes this as an event to see hence reducing the amount of interest in the sport!
simon jenkins | its like removing the 200m sprint from the running events.....madness
Stan S |
Tami Shelton |
simon morgan | Classes of boats chosen to participate in the Olympic Games should reflect the modern nature of our sport - we should not be dictated to by dinosaurs

calina | politica...No realidad. Multicascos jóvenes, divertidos y espectaculares
Tony van Thiel | Lets get at least on catamaran class into the Olymics. My vote would be for the Hobie-16.
M. Dekker |
| 72 | Urs | A decision by geriatric politicians.
Let the sailors vote:

Mark Cole | This decision demonstrates pure elitism and a crying shame for the sport, and the for the future youth of today with a sincere passion for the multihull discipline.
ben burns |
Tom Hemingway | Why? There is no real reson for dooing this what do you have against multihulls.
Martin Poole |
Steve Roberts |
peter eldridge | Shame on you ISAF. You have alienated a huge number of sailors around the world. The multihull should have it's place alongside it's single hulled conterparts.
Ryan Georgianna |
Rick Smith | This is outrageous and obviously a decision made by a group out of touch with current sailing trends and the desire of the public to be entertained and fast is fun.
Sean Culloty |
Marcin Jedrzejewski |
oliver southgate |
Martin Dilks |
Mike Roach |

| 87 | malcolm whitmore | It is a retrograde step for sailing to exc.lude cats There is a big loss to the solidarity of sailors introduced by this discrimination, the fastest class of boat being excluded is the Olympics loss.
I suggest that the ICRA sets up an alternative world event for catamarans that will potentially be a more fulfilling way forward rather than attempting to persuade those that have decided that they don't want us.
The Americas Cup shows what can be done with the right sponsors!
Advertising revenue to support the events will be more readily forthcoming for cats compared with Ynglings. |

Peter Vink |
Marco Wallenstein |
Mike Rogers |
Thaddeus Pecorak | It is truely appalling that ISAF has decided to forego any semblence of diversity in sailing. The exclusion of the multihulls shows a clear prejudice against multihull sailing and must not be tolerated.
Robin Russell |
Peter Lillywhite |
Paul Warren |
Michele Fisher |
Andras Szekely | This decision has been shocked all of Hungarian multihull sailors. Personally I can not understand how it coud happen that the most interesting, exicting sailing category has been kicked off from Olympic games?... This is absurd.
