Gavin K Barr | I sail a monohull dinghy but I consider that catamaran sailing is a major part of our sport. The I.S.A.F. decision to exclude catamarans from the 2012 Olympics is clearly wrong and should be revoked.
Wendy Fitzpatrick | The Olympic classes have seldom truly been representative of the type of boats raced by real people. To some extent, this is forgiveable. Dropping the catamaran is not. If the selection committee can't see how unbalanced the Olympic classes are, it is time its members were replaced.

David Howard | The decision to remove cats from the Olympics in 2012 seems liked a wasted opportunity.
Anonymous | We feel that catamarans should be included in the Olympics as they form an integral part of class sailing at the local yacht club level. It is the boat that meny dinghy sailors progress to.
Paul Hewett | this seems a very shortsighted view when you think of the no of catamarans that are sailed around the world.

Ross Newman | The ISAF'S actions have confirmed what multihull sailors have long suspected, that they (the ISAF) are only interested in our subscriptions.

Roderick Jansen | The multihulls were discontinued as an olympic class purely due to political reasons that don't have anything to do with the olympic spirit. This descision should be reversed

Mark Robson | crazy idea! the multi hulls are the most exciting of all dinghy racing.

Brian Bath | Shame Shame Shame Absolute B .S. All sailors should be worried this is the thin edge of the wedge for sailing as an olympic sport ,take out the most visually exciting class what are you left with, a big yawn and goodbye sailing.Lookout 49er you might be too exciting for the sedentary ISAF.Wake up and look to the future before its to late.

Raewyn Hutchins | Multihull racing has a worldwide following. It is an exciting and fast sport that requires different skills to monohull racing. There have been many attepmts by monohull sailers to exclude multihull sailors from clubs and events, it would be a major loss for all sailors it multihulls were excluded from the olympics.
