| 504 | Mike Coburn | I think it`s disgusting the Olympic multihull has to be removed when the 470 is still there even though there is the 49er ! |
| 505 | C.H. van Dam | Mulithulls should represent at the Games. |
| 506 | Gloor Michael | |

| 508 | Anonymous | IOC, reconsider your decision. For many people the Olympics are only interesting because of sailing and it's diversity, don't spoil it!! |
| 509 | Andrew Gallagher | I really don't understand this decision. Why, with such support for multihull sailing and so many of the worlds top sailors endorsing the class has the ISAF turned against multihulls? |
| 510 | Johnny Mrsa | |
| 511 | Diana Bogaards | The Olympic sailing regatta should represent all disciplines, also multihull sailing. |

| 516 | Anonymous | why reducing the diversity of olympic sailing and sport?
Why suppressing the competition of a fast sailing boat?
Thanks for reconsidering your decision |
| 517 | kelly henson | |
| 518 | Tjidde Boers | |
| 519 | Ulrich Lindberg | This decision shows that ISAF is not servicing their members, the sailors, but is a club of bureaucrats, |
| 520 | Vincent Mattiola | thank you |
| 521 | Anonymous | ISAF should have a real rethink.... The people want fun and fast sailing....
49er, 29er, multihull, Blade rider and windsurfer.
Th game has moved on..... |
| 522 | Anonymous | Is this a joke or have the poms been out in the sun too long?
Come over here & sail in Australia instead. |
| 523 | Suse Jones | Olympic Games 2012, England, Home of the Tornado,
need we say more................. |
| 524 | Jeremy Evans | like a lot of people i'm lost for words, apart from wondering why cat classes should continue to pay homage to ISAF who have followed up their unbelievable mess of youth cat selection by Olympic cat class rejection. |
| 525 | Marcus Lynch | I have been multihull sailing since I was 16.
I have been campaigning the Tornado for the last 6 years.
I can't believe that this decision has been made, I'm extremely dissapointed! |
| 526 | Robert Freeman | |
| 527 | Richard Allen | It is a disgrace that one of the largest disiplines in sailing is not represented at the Olympics. Multihull sailing is the most spectacular sailing event to watch and televise, just take a look at the Aruba Catamaran regatta website, www.arubaregatta.com.
As all the ISAf funding comes from the IOC through the sale of TV rights they seem to want to cut of their only revenue source! |

| 530 | Peter Walsh | if 25% of the sailing population sail cats .why take away their only representative at the olympics |
| 531 | Elaine Taylor | Disgraceful! Having grown up through monohull dinghies, I now sail a twin trapeze multihull with my husband and love it! The best promotion for multihull sailing is the grin on our faces after racing - we have a combined age of 113 years!!
ET and DT |
| 532 | Simon Child | This is an appalling decision by people who I thought were ment to bring sport to the interest of the general public. This being a fast and unisex form of sailing |
| 533 | Sophie Parrain | |
| 534 | Carolyn Howe | I believe that the multihull represents the majority of the sailing world. The multihull in the Olympics is an incredibly healthy class where the competition level gets higher and higher each quad. The boats are beautiful, fast and most importantly . . . fun to watch. I am an Olympic keelboat sailor and I think eliminating the catamaran is the wrong decision. |

| 537 | Anonymous | crazy decision |
| 538 | Piotr B | Tornado |
| 539 | Mick Ford | The people who have made tghis decision need to change their minds and accept that multihull racing is an important element of the Olympics.
The decision makers are clearly out of touch with the sailing fraternity |

| 541 | andrew marshall | |
| 542 | george oxley | keelboats not athletic enough |
| 543 | Dietmar Salzmann | |
| 544 | Cédric Van Moll | please? |
| 545 | Ted Grossbart | No multi's is a big mistake. It stifles innovation and disenfranchises thousands of our most talented sailors. |
| 546 | eelco Boers | I think the ISAF is not thinking in the greater interest of the sport. They are mere protecting there own (past) Interest. e.g. single hand Heavy dinghy men, just write down Finn saves a lot of time and hassle... An other great boat the flying dutchmen also went out for the single hand dinosaur.... Please ensure that the olympics will be an interesting event, for sailors and public!!!! |
| 547 | Nick Dewhirst | As Chairman of UKCRA I appeal to ISAF to reconsider. The outside world sees Council's decision to exclude multihulls as a victory of self-interest over spectator appeal. If you dump the most exciting boat, do not be surprised if TV dumps you. Then IOC may dump your entire Sailing Regatta! |
| 548 | Andrew Hannah | By reason of their speed, catamarans are spectacular racing craft. They actually make the sport of yacht racing exciting. They require different techniques, and their exclusion has made Olympic sailing lop-sided and unbalanced. |
| 549 | Sepp Lerchenmüller | |
| 550 | Shane Siggins | It's an amazing sport with weekly competitions. The Olympics is the pinacle to all the dedicated sailors out there |
