To Whom It May Concern at MTV,

Our parents told us of this great channel called MTV where music videos and the talented musicians and directors behind them were center stage, along with such classic shows as "Beavis & Butthead." 30 years later, this channel has seemed to disappear, and be replaced by an ugly imposter, spewing tripe like "Jersey Shore," "Teen Mom," and "16 and Pregnant." Reality TV Killed The Video Star. And this generation sat by and watched. Today, it's time we said ENOUGH. We, the undersigned, issue an ultimatum. We want our music videos back. We want to see the classics and the up-and-comings side-by-side. We want VJs, Headbanger's Ball, TRL, more music, and less tripe by what would be your 35th Anniversary, August 1st, 2016, at 12:01 AM. We will hold you on this, MTV, because we are your audience. The future is in you hands. And the remote is in ours.
