Please support Montreal's independent cafés by signing this petition to exempt cafes from purchasing a government required cash register and technology. In order to combat tax evasion the Quebec government is targeting restaurants and giving cafes the same classification.  Montreal's independent cafes have a vital role of providing community spaces and promoting arts and culture and should be given a unique classification.
