We the students of Montclair State University, are asking the SGA incorporated to sign a bill making more outdoor space available for the student body as a whole. Whereas we are asking that more furniture be placed outside in way of benches, tables, and chairs to accommodation the students and their ability to study and socialize outside. In locations such as near the Heights, Blanton, and the Student Center Quad. Additionally we are asking that more spaces be made available for students to take advantage to enjoy the beauty of the campus that Montclair has to offer. By providing more grassy and environmentally friendly areas on campus, students may feel more inclined to spend an increased amount of time outside on weekends and appreciate our campus. In doing so Montclair is not only provided students with a much needed break from being inside for classes or dorms,but would also help reinstate a connection that students have with nature.
