Comments: I am surprised that this Teacher would WANT to go back to this school, as it would have been the Governing Body of this school that agrees to his sacking, I would like to see any comments from thier Chair as to why they never backed him

Comments: Mr Aldridge is an excellent teacher, who genuinely cares for the education and well-being of the pupils. My daughter is a pupil in year 10, and when she endured a facial injury and was off school, he contacted us on a daily basis. He is greatly missed.

Comments: Olchfa witchhunt - Mr. Aldridge is innocent. As far as I am concerned everything is based on hearsay and school politics.

Comments: Anyone who knows Dave Aldridge is disgusted at the way he has been treated. His professional life is totally without blemish and for Olchfa to lose a teacher of his calibre is a travesty.

Comments: Mr Aldridge was my form tutor for 5 years while at Olchfa, and was a professional man whose mild manner and approachability left a lasting impression on me. It is a shame there are not more teachers like him.

Comments: THANX TO MR ALDRIDGE OUR DAUGHTER COMPLETED HER EDUCATION AT OLCHFA DESPITE HER ATTEMPTS TO DO OTHERWISE. THIS IS IN NO SMALL WAY TO THE PATIENT AND EXTREMELY DEDICATED AND GALLANT (WELL ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL) EFFORTS OF MR ALDRIDGE WITH WHOM WE BECAME QUITE WELL AQUAINTED DUE TO OUR FREQUENT VISITS. ITS SADDENS ME TO THINK THAT SUCH AN EXCELLENT AND VALUABLE (SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE) TEACHER HAS BEEN CAST ASIDE. SHAME ON YOU OLCHFA. THE VERY BEST WISHES TO MR ALDRIDGE FOR HIS FUTURE

Comments: As a parent of four children who have all attended Olchfa School I have dealt with Mr Alldridge on a number of occasions both as a teacher of Mathematics and Head of Year. Mr Alldridge has always acted professionally. He has always treated the pupils of the school with patience and respect above and beyond the call of duty. I feel it is a shame that Olchfa school did not treat an innocent experienced teacher with the valuable support he has shown to countless pupils over the years. Both the Year group (he was head of) and the pupils in his Mathematics classes have been affected by Olchfa's decision.

Comments: I am currently a pupil of Olchfa school and mr. Alrdridge taught me for 2 and a half years. He is a fantastic teacher and a good person. He has shown undying support to the school German exchange and given up much of his own time to help pupils.

Comments: Being an ex Olchfa school pupil I was shocked to discover how badly Mr Aldridge is being treated. Mr Aldridge was instrumental in helping me pass my Maths O Level in the eighties and I don't understand why the school powers that be have sacked him. He's a first class teacher and well liked. The police have cleared him of everything and I would very much like to see him reinstated. And sooner rather than later because i'm sure that the pupils are missing his teaching skills and knowledge.
