The petition
Dear all,
After I heard about the sacking of Mr David Aldridge, I wrote to the Evening Post to complain about this. As other ex-pupils have written in to support him as well I thought it would be good idea to start a petition to get his sacking overturned and to see him reinstated at Olchfa School.
As the Police have cleared him of any charges for this alleged 'assault on a pupil' then there is no reason why he should have been on suspension for a year and then sacked by Olchfa School. It therefore seems likely that a political campaign has been devised to get rid of Mr Aldridge.
He is a great teacher and a good man and its very important that we keep teachers of his calibre in secondary education - therefore I urge you to sign this petition and support him.
