Dear all, After I heard about the sacking of Mr David Aldridge, I wrote to the Evening Post to complain about this. As other ex-pupils have written in to support him as well I thought it would be good idea to start a petition to get his sacking overturned and to see him reinstated at Olchfa School. As the Police have cleared him of any charges for this alleged 'assault on a pupil' then there is no reason why he should have been on suspension for a year and then sacked by Olchfa School. It therefore seems likely that a political campaign has been devised to get rid of Mr Aldridge. He is a great teacher and a good man and its very important that we keep teachers of his calibre in secondary education - therefore I urge you to sign this petition and support him. If anyone can carry out a physical/paper-based petition (I can set up the form!) in Swansea (I am based in London so I can only do an online campaign) then please e-mail me: email@example.com Many Thanks and regards to all, Katie (former Olchfa pupil, 1988-1995)

All of the positive commenters have obviously never seen it.
