The primary mission of Montana Patient's Medicinal Rights Cooperative (Montana-PMRC) is to support local and state politicians who have taken action, or have pledged to take action, to ensure that physician-approved patients have safe and legal access to medical marijuana in Montana.

This petition aims to uphold the rule of law; Initiative NO. 148 Montana Medical Marijuana Act adopted by Montana’s voters on November 2nd, 2004 with an overwhelming 62% majority vote. It also aims to prevent local and county politicians from violating the civil rights of caregivers and patients.

We encourage our fellow citizens to uphold the rule of law and strike down any attempt to violate our civil rights.

We invite you to sign this petition so your voice may be heard. This is only the first step in protecting our rights.*

*Please note:  July 7th, 2010 at 6PM in Belgrade, Montana there is a scheduled city council meeting to vote against caregivers' civil rights to do business in the city. The city council is using a zoning loophole to get around the rule of law. We would like to see a large turnout of fellow patients and caregivers along with those who share our views on civil liberties and smaller government.
