| 5 | aaron wojack | I don't agree with this ordinance. it seems like a really convieniant way for police to arrest people for no good reason. |

| 7 | Josh Gardner | There are so many good reasons to make this law go away. Let's do it! |

| 9 | Tim Hutchens | Intent to commit a crime, unless the whole police force is psyhic this is outragous and wrong |

| 14 | Lane McKiernan | As someone who has experienced poverty and near-homelessness in Minneapolis, I know that what we need are more supports and services (and more affordable, accessible housing), not more ways for the government to harass us and make us disappear from view. |
| 15 | Jaimie Wilson | I work as a professional social worker, Lutheran minister, and disability rights worker, and find this ordinance to be discriminatory.
As a person with an autistic spectrum disorder, my intentions are often misjudged. As a person who is transgender, I realize that my appearance has been confusing to people. And as a person who identifies as anti-racist and anti-ableist, I find this ordinance to be open to discriminatory application. |

the Constitution, think of the people, and quit
making re-election their primary goal.

| 35 | Anonymous | Clearly, this law offers the opportunity for discrimination against people of color. |

| 37 | Michael Stevens | This is an ambiguous and unnecessary ordinance that can very easily be used against populations that have enough to struggle with -- say, the homeless. If someone, due to her or his legal and/or socioeconomic condition, is denied a home, how easy can it be to say that she or he is "lurking" on the street? The term "lurking" is loaded language that, due to its ambiguous use here, may vilify people who face more threats of one kind or another than anyone with whom they come into contact. |

| 40 | Wade Haynes | This law, and particularly the way in which it is selectively enforced on minorities, the homeless, and the underprivileged, is an absolute disgrace. Furthermore, it is unnecessary and a waste of my tax dollars. Repeal it. |
