Mossley Music Festival (aka Mozfest) is a free, community event, ran each year by volunteers, for the people of Mossley and Tameside. It is a valuable showcase for the community to display their talents, to bring people of the community together, and to bring in valuable added tourism to the area. Mozfest has been going from strength to strength, and his year would have been 8 years old,. However 2010 has brought some unprecedented, unforeseen circumstances, meaning the required licence from Tameside Council will not be granted and the festival will not happen. Please sign the petition to show your upset at the situation, and to show the council what a negative effect not having Mozfest 2010 will bring.
