I live in a nice retail and residential neighborhood with some non retail businesses, (i.e.) medical, banking and high tech. Their is a very busy methadone clinic in my neighborhood, since, its arrival the crime rate has been on a very steady increase along with littering of drugs and drug paraphernalia. I've found used needles and herion in my neighborhood and I'm very disappointed in the city decision to allow for this kind of place to operate in a family friendly area. They don't allow the mmj clinics to open up and do business, if they it must be in a industrial zone. Most users of mmj who need their meds just the same as the herion junkies do. So my question is how do I get a petition started to help clean up my community by making these clinics that are not good anywhere near a school, church or public park into a industrialized zone? # remove the junkies!
