Name: Anonymous on Mar 11, 2008Comments: Enough injustice has been created and maintianed through the ignornat arrogant mentality that is the state. Count your loses and except the fact that the people were wrongfully imprisoned. They are unfortunately not alone in this gross injustice, others have been scarificed for the "needs" of our judicial systems. Others such as: Mumia Abul Jamal, Leonard Peltier, Jeff Leurs, Nicola Sacco, Batolomeo Vanzetti,August Spies, Albert Parsons, Adolph Fischer, George Engel, Louis Lingg, Michael Schwab, Samuel Fielden, Oscar Neebe the list goes on and on and on. Until, in moments such as these, we as a social and supposed judicial configuration begin to realize how injust our justice really is. In attempting this emancipation of freedom, I demand you allow these humans their right to dignity and autonomy that they so rightfully deserve. Even as the "crimianls" they condemned to be. FREE MOVE 9 and all political prisoners if not in the name of justice, then in the genuine sense of re-configuring our penal system.Flag

Name: Jo Ann Fishburn on Mar 11, 2008Comments: Let's let this horrific and shameful period in our city's history come to an end. Nine people serving thirty years each for a killing that most likely NONE of them did can only be made more tragic by continuing their imprisonment or adding unfair stipulations to their parole.Flag

From reading Mumia's accounts of the incident, I believe the MOVE9 are innocent, but whether they are or not, it's time for their release, and the release of all political prisoners.Flag

Name: Alex Vizzi on Mar 12, 2008Comments: It is too much that innocent people have served 30 years. If New York policeman get can off scotch-free after, without doubt, shooting an innocent man 41 times, these eight should without doubt be paroled after 30 years of serving for a crime that evidence shows they did not commit. This unfair tilt towards the police, many of whom abuse their positions of power has gone on far too long.Flag
